after the weekend

Hi everyone,
well I survived the weekend. Firstly can I say what a wonderful time I had at Charlie Belle's 2nd Birthday party!! What a day of fun had by all. Thank you to Carmen who went to a lot of effort to ensure all the kids had a great time and memory of the day.

So then Carmen is so lucky I had a great day, as I don't know that I could have stood being bored all day while all my friends where scrapping without me, but NO I can say that wasn't to be s had a great day.
Charlie and all her little friends running around playing and giggling was a wonderful site indeed. They just loved being able to run free and and have fun. They loved all the animals and of course the highlight of the day was Jack the Pony, he was a real hit!! The kids love it, I think the parents did as well, just seeing their kids having fun.

During eating time, Jenko entertained the kids (and adults) with his guitar singing his version of kids songs, just a hoot! Charlie Belle of course has the music in her blood was at home with the songs and at ease holding her make do microphone singing happily to all the songs......Just Priceless!!

Carmen makes the announcement that cake time is coming soon !!! Miss Ayse across the other side of the barn happily eating her jelly cup, sings into OHHHH YESSSS PLEASE!!!! COME ON CHARLIE BELLE!!!
So all the kids get rounded up, and not soon enough for Ayse as she has sat and waited very impatiently hahaha to light these candles and blow them out!! Now at this stage of the day all eyes are on the cake and child so camera's everywhere right? Yes mine decided to go completely FLAT, right at the time!!!!! So not too happy. Anyway candle re lit, the singing has started and Asye blows out the candles for Charlie, too funny, what a face of absolute excitement who could take that away from her, so we lit them again, oh and again...LOL

The day has gone off with a big hit from all, time to move on, go home or head back to Carmen and Khane's. Charlie is happy sitting in front seat of car while we all load the car up etc... The music is up load and she is having a ball, tooting the horn non stop and just babbling away...

Time now for us to leave so I say to Carmen, we will see you at home....... Get the phone call about ten minutes later..... arrrrh we have a flat battery!! Well done Charlie Belle, lovin ya work!!
All back at Carmen and Khane, kids and playing outside on the play equipment, the guys have lit a fire and of course all the girls are where it all happens...yes that's right the kitchen... By later that day/evening Carmen was changing her name, and did not want to hear her name again at that stage...don't blame her, she did well being 8months pregnant and didn't sit the whole day.
Arrrrrh thank god that night is over...I'm sure Charlie had  great time, but time for... Bot Bot bed mummy....
Good night darling....LOL phew!

Today I got up later than I wanted, but headed up to Lancefield to see all the girls scrapping.. Oh and spend my birthday money of course...
Vikki had got all the ladies the night before to sing Happy Birthday to me via video, it made my night as it didn't feel like my birthday as it was Charlie Belle's day.

So very nice to say hi to everyone and get some goodies as well...

Now time for  Bot Bot Bed Lisa as I'm officially stuffed...
